      Do you mean dominant and recessive genes?


      Examples of dominant genes- brown eyes, dark hair, curly hair


      Recessive genes- blue or green eyes, blonde hair, straight hair

        Does this pertain to behavior or attitude of fish, as some are dominant and others are recessive?  Like a Fighting fish is dominant, and aggressive, and thus is usually in a tank alone.  However Guppies are recessive, and will tolerate other fish well.
