      You can not find out. It's up to him to make the appointment to be tested. You can only suggest he see a doctor for whatever the reasons you think he needs to see one.

        Does he have hullucinations ......auditory or visual ? Does he seem paranoid ? Does he think all his family members and friends are stealing from him ?  Does he have delusions....such as he thinks he's the actual preident of the U.S. ( that's just an example )  Does he at times, seem to lose contact with reality ?
