There's been much controversy on his participation in this event on the grounds that his artificial feet provide an unfair advantage against his competitors. Although this was settled in court, the advantage may in fact be real.
Regardless, as a fan of athletics and a much bigger fan of humanity, I believe that the latter trumps the former. I'm sure that those same people that vocally contest his eligibility are dead-silent about "fairness" once he takes the blades off and takes on life's daily, simple chores.
