check your c.d.i. box it is more than likely the problem..i had one go out on me while riding in a pretty swift river...i put one that looked the same but distributed the wrong percentages and values to the spark..so it ran again but not up to snuff as it should of been...so i found the right one and it ran like new again.Capasitor, Discharge,ignition. also known as C.D.I. it looks like a black box with wires coming out of it and if you turn it over it is a seald unit electronic when i bought mine 3 years ago it cost $180.00. also make sure you buy the exact same one or it may not perform the way it should.
