        The guy shot fast, no time to react... Maybe not as many killed or wounded before someone got a shot off. God help those standing in the way......

          There would have been a firefight. Most likely the one that started it would be killed, but not before many others were hurt also. Would so many innocent be killed and/or wounded? ..... probably not.

                    In my opinion, if all are armed, then it's less likely anyone would pull out a gun knowing all can return fire.
