Has your greatest fear ever come true?

If your's hasn't come true please tell what it is. If you don't want to I'm ok with that. Mine hasn't. Mine is that a clown would kidnap me and the clown would have several pet spiders... ugh!

Yes.  I have always been fearful that one day a young person with a perfectly round face would show me her red tongue.  My fear was realized today.

I guess I don't have a lot of things I am fearful about.

    clowns are creepy

Wow, what a weird fear you have. My fears are more related to real life, for instance, sometimes I'm afraid that I won't reach my goals/ambitions.

    yes..but am not saying what!:-(

My biggest fear came true about 11 years ago and I didn't have enough sense to realize it at the time.......

    obama.  Enough said

Not yet, but it will if Obama is re-elected and the Dimocrates retain control of the US Senate where all of the Legislation, that has passed the House that is needed to get the country of of this Recession, is being held up.

It is easy to explain. All spending bills must originate in the House and the House has sent 33 bill to the Senate, over the past two and a half years, to promote job growth.

Majority Leader of the Senate, Harry Reid will not alloy ANY of those bills to come to the floor for a vote because he knows there are enough Democrats in the Senate who will vote with the Republicans to pass them.

The Annual Federal Budget, on the other hand originates in the Senate and must be adopted by the end of October of the previous year.

The Senate has not past the Annual Budget in THREE years, as required by the Constitution.

What they have been doing is passing a "A Continuing Resolution" which extends the SAME budget for one year, including an AUTOMATIC 5% INCREASE is total spending, for ALL parts of the Federal Government.

Even when the Democrats controlled BOTH Houses of the Congress, they did not pass a budget.

Got it- that's what I thought you were saying ...sometimes I just get a bit confuse. Thanks for the clarification.

I think you meant "Democrats", but DIMocrats is hilarious!

No I meant Dimocrates, I was one for many years as well. ;-)

In the US, there are Democrats and Republicans as the two "major" parties. I liked the play on words "Dimocrats" would be here. My apologies.

    yes

My greatest fear is harm (of any form) coming to my sons or grandchildren.
