    printer canon pixma iP 1500 not printing though machine has reacted to "print" signal by turning the front rollers

    Yesterday it had still processed the paper but the ink cartridge was empty (so it was replaced)

      Check the other cartridge. Make sure it has ink. Make sure the one you replaced is seated correctly. Also, make sure you removed the tape from the head so the ink can come out.
