Kiwis don't have any wings, not even vestigial remains. Why did the Creator make them?

They are meant to be birds of the earh rather than birds of flight ..

    try this ..

Not only special adaptations of their wings, but birds also have feathers with adaptations for their species, Ex. owl, has feathers which make it swoop with no sound, to catch their prey.  And all feathers on a bird are grouped to have different styles for their function relating to flight, or for insulation, waterproofing, etc.
