    or should i burn them or drown them in the lake?????

      well, it would definately prevent that set of larva from morphing into tent catepillars.

        If you put the branches through the shredder you will release the fibres from the caterpillars into the air. These are very irritant so I suggest you burn them, but when you cut the branches wear a mask and gloves. If you have a dog, keep it out of the way, they are very susceptible to the irritant hairs.
