          thank you we borrowed a tester from an auto parts store and no codes came up. they said that's good news but it doesn't get the vehicle running. would the pcm show up on the tester?

          Talking as an electrician and not as a mechanic, I think it should.

          I don't know about engines but in electronics it means 'Pulse Code Modulation'..  This useless and unnecessary information is brought to you free of charge as an added akaQA service.  :)
