Before we move on, here are two sleeper picks near the link end of the catalog. Lot 141 is a Vacheron Constantin "shutter" watch that is well-sized and gorgeous in the metal. link And lot 150 is a Vacheron ref. 4072 chronograph. Condition-wise, this is far and away the best vintage chronograph of the season. Collectors should start to respect vintage Vacheron a lot more link and should do so relatively soon before prices start to creep up.

The exuberance of wearing Glenns Mercury 7 LeCoultre brought the urge to add another link Glenn link watch to my collection. It was now more than a week after the sale but the two Hamilton military watches had not been sold. One of them appeared to be older than the other with a sub-seconds hand at the bottom of the dial and military markings on the caseback. The newer watch had a link center-mounted second hand and had no military markings on the caseback.
