    how come my car air conditioner wont take freon

    Because it has a leak.  Check the fittings are tight.  I went through 3 bottles of freon once and it turned out being a loose fitting. Check all the tubing/hoses, expansion valve, anywhere the freon travels.   If not that then prepare yourself for a hefty repair bill.

    I believe on newer model vehicle dont take freon gas like the oldys, you might be in for a repair cost.I think they change it for friendly envirioment use.

    Have u checked to make sure the compresser is kicking on because it could be full and the compresser just isnt activating.
