    What is the best thing to do when your computer is acting up? Complete recovery/restore or repair?

    If I am having problems with my computer; is it better to do a complete restoration (with recovery disk) or to have it repaired?

      Try restore to when you remember it was ok, if that doesn't work, Repair.

        it is system restore on mine ,a Dell laptop.
