    Are photovoltaics worthwhile?

    I am considering installing a photovoltaiic system on my roof. I calculate that it will take at least 10 years to pay for itself. Has anyone on this board such a system and if so what is your opinion?

        Thanks Romos, but the link includes opinions only from the USA and are from 2006. I was hoping to hear from people from Europe who have experience of recently installed systems. Any info?
