Did you clear it out? As in, format or anything like? If you cleaned out files and such prior to giving it to her, your pw went with...hopefully you have the install disks..because you'll need them to format it. Return it to prime empty, like when you got it, NO pw, then let her.

hi SirTrews, no i never got around to clearing it out, i bought external h/drve with all intents of clearing out. but alas windows wont let me in,as its only notebook there arent discs. my p/wd not changed at all, even secret answ same. its a shame as i hardly used it,bought 3yr ago still has original docket in carrybag it came in.so any suggestions much appreciated.
