I make a call to a distant area code. I get a call back from the same area code but 1 digit off. HOW IS THIS BEING DONE?

I have no idea, unless the party you called has two lines, one digit apart.  That is not unusual. My parents, for example, had business and house lines, ending in -3470 and -3471.

Is your phone fine might be some problem in LCD of screen?
