    why does my thumb feel numb

    ime a plasterer by trade and right handed, a few weeks ago i started having severe pain in my thumb and it still hurts now but also feels numb when i rub it, anyone help plz.

      I think you might have Carpal Tunnel syndrome, as many people using  computers have.  Basically you use a certain group of muscles so much for too long that it gets aggravated.


      Your doctor can prescribe something to fix this.  In the mean time, give the right hand a rest.

        My sister has the same symptom and has just been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I hope that is not the case for you.
