    i have in the last day got new car have canceled the insurance, but want to sell it quickly got people interest in it

        Statutory Off Road Notification. In the UK when you scrap a car or take it off the road for any reason you do not have to buy a Road Fund Licence, but  you have to make a declaration that the car will not be driven on the public highway. If you do so and are caught by the police you will end up in court and get a very hefty fine plus there is a fair chance that your vehicle will be confiscated.
