a double "male" cable should do it: plug 1 end into ipad earphone jack, and the other end plug into stereo. This won't give stereo sound, only mono. Then tune into Pandora and groove. I can't say I[ve done this . but I do it with my Bose wave and my tablet, radio, tv, discman. I hope this works for you. btw these cables are very common, I think airlines give them away for listening to a movie with your own earphones?
