If this is a radio for a car, contact your local dealer and give him your VIN number. He/she can research the code for you.

thank you colleen,however i bought this car radio at a thrift store to build a portable stereo using a 12 volt 5 amp computer power supply so io only have a model and serial number to research no vin dont know if dealer would give out code
You can only try. I think if you explain how you got the radio, they may try and research it for you. We would not be able to search it by serial number. Perhaps you can contact the maker as the serial number is one they created.
