how can i eat beans without farting afterwards?

I don't know if I buy this but, I've heard that if you soak your beans overnight (before cooking) in water and baking soda, that will decrease the gas. Rinse them well.............

jh, That's what my mom did. And her bean or/and pea soup was the best! Today,( June 10th), would have been her 101st birthday. :-)
