From what I could see in the help section on the friendster site, you can no longer add photos to your page. On the old format you could, but not on the new format.
From their help section:
As part of the reformat of the site, we had to remove some of the content of your profile including the photos, albums, blogs and most parts of the profile like the "more about " info, comments and the testimonials. All these data had been deleted and can no longer be retrieved.
