      The "Do Not Call" list does not seem to work in Canada. Apparently, the telemarketing companies have found several ways around it. I have received calls that according to my caller I.D., are local numbers, some even show a well-known local person's name!

Sounds like a pretty standard watch-industry practice right link Well Tissot actually link took things a step further for the RockWatch's Hong Kong launch in November 1986.
