There are some minor variations and differences between MBBS and MD; but for most intents and purposes they are the same thing; they are what you end up with after your complete your medical course. Some uni would give you MBBS, some give you MD, some either one, but at the end of the day you learn mostly the same thing and end up as a doctor. In other words, the main difference between these two is simply the name itself.
