    1995 mercury 115

I have just rebuild a 1995 Mercury 115 hp 4cyl 2+2 motor and would like to remove the oil injection. I have rebuild several outboards ranging for 75 hp to 225 of various types. This is the first outboard I have encountered that idles on two cyl and runs WOT on 4 cyl. The oil injection is all mechanically driven and seems to be a problem just waiting to happen. I know the main jet sizes on all four carbs and that the #1&2 carbs are the only ones with idle jets..., my question is if I dc the fuel accelerator pump for the #3&4 carbs that engages @ around 1800-2000rpm..., plug the 14 psi injection ports on the cyl walls of #3&4 wheer the injection pump feeds...., dc the oil tank and make a cover plate to seal the crankcase where the oil pump exist..., and add two identical idle jet screws to the #3&4 carbs..., then mix the oil and gas in the built in tank..., will the system work???? Or have I missed something in my assumptions? Not sure if the #3&4 carbs have and orfice to support idle screws?
