When you need to reply to a person, click the "comment this answer" link attached to their answer to reply back to them. This way they will get an alert that you replied and will come check what you said. Thanks.

Open Default Programs by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Default Programs.

    Click Set your default programs.

Under Programs, click the e?mail program you'd like to use, and then click Set this program as default.

    Click OK.

Can you not click on the email and make it a default through tools . I will keep looking into it for you :/ sorry .

If Not Then You Can Just Change Your Default Email Client In The Properties section Under

Start Menu, Change Email Link To Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail.

Please try to keep your answers all together rather than listing them separately. This limits the confusion for new comers as to how to reply to comments posted and it keeps a back and forth discussion all together. If you need to add your answer, use the "edit this answer" link.

Another reason is that some members use this tactic to gain extra karma. It's silly but it does upset other members as they see it as cheating. I know you are too new to care about karma so I do recognize this was NOT your intent. I just felt you should understand the two reasons as to why you should post only one time to a question. Thanks. :)
