    what does OD mean

    i was driving and i saw two flashing symbol comes on one say OD off and the other one is like a exclamation mark sign come on.  i got a 2001 mercury cougar.

      It could mean Origin Destination, but without more info that's just a guess.

        Thats the 'overdrive'. if you turn it on the light will go off.
