    can I replace my steering column for my 1977 ford f-150 with one from a 1979 f-150?

    They are both automatic and need to know about the neutral safety switch and how to either bi-pass or setting it so it can be started

        Call a Salvage Yard and ask the guys there. they will know it it fits or not.


        As the the switch, it is located above the brake pedal.
