my grand daughter just bought an ipod touch 8gb but we cannot get it to take anything help??

is the answer about a purported user manual all there is? it did not come with a users manual, how do we get one? the quick guide references such as web sites are obtuseand offer no help.

I gave you the link to Apple's support center where more help is available. I do not own an iPod for just this reason, no one seems to know how to use them.
