She DEMANDED more, more, more ice cream. And then she made a big deal of picking her nose and was more than gross about the behavior. I told my daughter (her mother) Mom was NOT happy that I mentioned her daughter’s offenses. Oooph! Do you think I should have kept my mouth shut. Mom and daughter are going to a psychologist. (Maybe it is I who needs the psychologist!)

Absolutely spot on...now your grandchild knows that you won't be enabling the behaviours by keeping mum...from Mom!! :)

Let your daughter know that the child will be made to behave, whenever she is with you. Ask your daughter if she wants to know about it and if not, let that be the end of telling her anything. I'm guessing that your granddaughter probably behaves better, whenever she is with you.

Was your daughter upset because you mentioned your granddaughters behavior or was she upset the child was acting badly?

Ask my kids...I learned long ago not to hassle others by dictating anything..we're all on the same trip that way..a concept that others find difficult to comprehend let alone achieve. Peace. :)
