As in most of the world, soccer (football) is the most popular sport in the Caribbean. On many islands that are part of the British Commonwealth or have a history of British settlement (Barbados and Bermuda, for example), cricket also is very popular. Baseball is hugely popular in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Curacao, and Puerto Rico, and basketball and tennis are widely played, as well. All types of water sports are obviously popular as well, especially boating, fishing, diving, surfing, and windsurfing. You also can find horse racing, drag racing, cock fighting, and even bullfighting in the Caribbean!
