This is a new site for me, sorry for the error. I have a singer sewing machine that is about 40 years old. I can buy a manual for about $30, simple question thought someone might be able to help me. I loaned it out and it came back with a few problems. There are no repairment in our area.

I do not know how to replace a tension button on a random sewing machine. You didn't even give the name of the sewing machine.
