      You have your question on here twice, worded a bit differently, but obviously the same question.  Give people a chance to answer. 
      NO, I haven't encountered a penny that was silver and copper.

        Penny's are copper flashed, they are not solid copper anymore. What your seeing is the pot like metal used during the slamping/coining process.
