    How to care for kittens 3 weeks old when mother is dead?

    Kittens were born 3 weeks ago.  Mother cat, Lucy, was hit by a car and killed instantly.  We have bought the kitten formula in a can to make milk for the 4 kittens, but know little else to do for them.  I read somewhere that we should be massaging their bellies and bottoms with a warm cloth to stimulate digestion and bowl movement.  


    What else do we need to do?

        Check with your local SPCA of animal shelter,, WBMS


        They may have a cat with kittens

          You can do as Jack says....resource all possibilities for a surrogate mother...this can be a cat, a small dog or even a rabbit doe! Diligence to the task is crucial for these little ones to make it...good luck! Colleens link is awesome too!  Peace.
