    why isn't my brand new 350 sbc not getting any oil to the lifters and the top of the engine ?

    this  engine was bought from a local parts house and then sat in storage for 2 years, oil pump was primed.

      Gotta be the oil pump.

        there's no pressure you can blow the motor this way

          The head has been removed and the seal installed up side down  which blocks the oil flow to the lifters. Just a guess...
