 I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago; adn  yes, it is possible to get a yeast infecton after it, b/c a  yeast infection stems from your vagina, which they don't remove when doing a hysterectomy . So, either buy O T C cream for a yeast infec, or go to your gyn to tell him/ her about it.
