Are you talking about when you finally stand up?  It's called "postural hypertension" or "sudden change in blood pressure". You can achieve this by standing suddenly or even "straining at stool" (this is what killed Elvis....). Ease yourself up and don't strain on the toilet.........

I've never heard of this perhaps you have been in the river too long. I know if you cut off blood supply to any body part for long enough the part will shrivel and die!

My dad when he was a boy, back in the early 1900, they would stand you in the corner for bad behavior and dad would pass out and locking his knees is what they claimed did it.......
