Link the Nextar GPS and a personal computer by using the USB cable provided with the purchase. Make sure the device and computer are powered up.

Visit the NaviExtras website (See Resources). Register the Nextar GPS with the site.

Proceed to follow the Map Update tutorial. In some instances the Nextar GPS might not have enough space to add the updates. NaviExtras will allow the user to store the updates on the computer until space is made on the GPS by deleting older files or countries or regions that are not used.
