about I year ago I had a beautiful, sweet loving Bischon Frais was dumped on me, because she pissed on the floor, me and my roommate took in. within a week of coming to me, she was within the vet. clinic having xrays done. She had stones in her bladder, she went through one surgery last summer, and has been on the science diet SO, as well as antibiotics. She is on pain medicine every day. I have fibromyalgia, I know pain, I myself will have to take medicine for the rest of my life. I do not want this beautiful dog to suffer. She went in for a checkup last week. She has more struvite stones, in her bladder, and there is one in her Kidney. the one in the kidney has to come out. The only way to save her is to remove the stone from the kidney, have another surgery on her bladder to remove any stones there. The stone in the kidney has to come out, that is only way to save her. I have spoken to her doctor, she informed me that Diamond (her name, the dogs name) has the potential to live another 8 or more years because of the breed she is. I can tell you before she came to me, she was severely neglected. Her first surgery to remove stones from her bladder (last summer) her doctor removed over 1 1/2lbs of struvite stones . my roommate and I would very much like to see her have those 8 wonderful years that could await her. her first 8 years were not happy ones, please someone help me give her 8 happy years her doctor believes awaits her if when can just get the stone out of the kidney and bladder. My roommate and I have already put over $3000 into trying to get her healthy. We cannot afford another surgery on the bladder to remove what stones maybe there, but more importantly it is the stone in the kidney that has to go. I am asking for help. everything I have mentioned can be verified by Diamonds doctor. Please I am not asking for money, if you would like to send donations, let me know. If there is anyone who can help, a Bischon Frais rescue group here in idiana , anywhere, that can her have those 8 years or more If I have to give her up so that she may live, I will do so. thank you , bonnie and Diamond

Hi I am so sorry to hear this heart rendering story I am a great animal lover and my heart goes out to you colleen has given very good advise and the other sites do go on here in the UK we have blue cross do you not have this for sick animals go to the media get as much publicity as you can its now that you have to work in keeping diamond alive good luck to you both and god bless diamond
