What's the difference between a leisure battery and a car batter of the same amperage.

I use a leisure battery on a boat but when the tap is turned on,( worked by a pump) it takes so much drain on the battery that if I have a radio turned on the sound goes off, so would i be better off  getting a 110 amp car battery.

You probably need what is called a "Deep Cell" battery. These are the batteries used in electronic wheelchairs & similar devices. The allow all of the charge to be used at full power.

Perhaps, IF your battery is twelve volt,, WBMG
