0100 is one am and it goes to 2400 which is midnight...so, 0800-1600 is 8am to 4pm...write a chart starting with 2400 going to 2300 midnight- 11pm and put the standard times next to them...2400 12am, 0100 1am,.... 1200 12 noon, 1300 1pm etc and that will make it easier to figure out [note 2400 can also be 0000 both mean midnight]
