In order to set a computer for a left-handed do as follows:
click "Start", then choose "Control Panel"
once inside the control panel double-click "Mouse",
you should see a window with a few tabs, choose the one that is tagged as "Buttons"
inside which are 3 sections, on the "Button Configuration" section there is an option to switch the functions of the 2 mouse buttons, or simply the option to change from "Right-handed" to "Left-handed".
Change or choose the configurations so that they fit a left-handed
click the "Apply" button at the "Mouse Properties" window.
Now your mouse is configured for a left-handed.
