    If you are incapable of getting the information for some reason, you are connected after all, there are infinite resources which will tell you.  Basically, the light reflected from objects enters the pupil, and transmits an image as the rods and cones of the retina receive the stimuli.  That information is then taken via the optic nerve to the brain as bioelectrical information to the appropriate region of the brain to create the correct response.
