Nice scope! Try googling the company name and model of scope. Look at your mildot as just a guide for your windage and elevation. You have to zero out your scope first, and then using your mildot is just a matter of familiarity with objects at known distances.
It's nothing hard, it's just a matter of getting familiar with things.
