    I have had the same problem with my air conditioning unit for a week now and I don't know what's wrong. I wonder if it's a problem with my ducts or something. I thought about trying to fix it myself but maybe a professional is the way to go on this one.

        I would check for a short in the wire or something. There's no reason the command from the inside temperature control shouldn't get to the outside unit. There is probably a short somewhere.
