replacing the shifter tube on thse ford trucks or vans are no fun . there are alot of small pieces that fit only in an order that it is so easy to forget how it went together. if you have not done this before , i would suggest sothing easier if you dont have all the tools and experience. i would get an entire steering column from a junk yard which may cost almost the same by the time you purchase the shifter tube. sometimes i have seen damage to the column housing where you end up with more parts that you can not always find them. hope this helps. good luck
