Have you ever rebuilt one before

If not and if it is a late model trans I juggest you don't. There are so many parts and seals small parts, presion parts that have to go in the right place and position, this is not and easy task for a beginer. Take it some where and have it done.

This procedure is about as complicated as brain surgery.There are many special tools required to do the job for a start.Take Bills advice & take it to an auto transmission specialist.

I agree with Bill.  It is very complicated.  Take a few classes or at least apprentice with a professional.
