Sounds like a flooding issue. You could have an injector getting stuck.

Yesterday while I was driving, i pressed on the acceleration and i heard a knock and it was really sluggish to get up to speed. later in the day from a cold start i waited until it was warm and drove it about a block and when i turned the corner it chugged to a halt and wouldn't start up again.

Could be a fuel pump issue.
