Disconnect the RF feed wire from the radio, remove the cover at the base of the antenna, remove the hold down screws, disconnect the power feed wire from the antenna, remove the antenna assembly.
Replace the antenna, with a know good antenna then reinstall the power feed, the RF feed wire, hold down screws and base cover then test for proper activation, WBMS
