Not too worry as long as you still have an Oregon license plate!
Contact the Dept. of Motor Vehicles in Oregon and ask how long after you return to the state, before you must have your vehicle reinspected, WBMS.
Most states, with which I am familiar allow around 30 to 60 days to have your vehicle inspected, if you have been out of state for more than 30 days.
If you are stopped for an expired inspection sticker, all you need do is provide proof, like a motel, restaurant, or gas bill.
